On Friday, I did a little baby shower shopping and Saturday we went to do our baby registry for the boys! And after that we ate lunch and did some more baby shower shopping. When I got home I then rested alittle and then begin working on some of my baby shower projects, so I had a very busy weekend. On Sunday, I attend Church and OMG! I can tell I'm MOST pregnant! It was so hard for me to get ready for Church. I had a hard time shaving my legs in the shower, I could barley polish my toes nails and put lotion on my ankles and feet. Then I had plan on wearing black heels but my feet were to swollen to even wear them. I feel so Huge!!!!

Belly button in or out? Innie

Wedding ring on or off? On

Mood most of the time: Over all very happy 99% of the time! But I did have a couple little meltdowns.

Looking forward to: Seeing the boys, finishing up my baby shower shopping and starting on the boys nursery

Baby names? Kingsley and Kash

Thoughts: My mood has always been super happy but this week I had a couple of meltdowns! Monday my spirits were down because my Grandma had a heart attack and had to stay in the hospital all week. Wednesday they performed a heart procedure on her and by Friday she was doing great and was able to come home! My Aunt had to also had to have the same heart procedure done so there was alot going on with my family all week. My Friday I woke up feeling alittle happy knowing my Grandma and Auntie were okay and that I was going to see the boys. I did my hair and makeup and got ready to go see the boys at my doctors appointment. DJ and I made it to our appointment early as always. My appointment was at 1:00pm and we got there around 12:33 and I check in. At 12:55 they called me to the front counter and told me they were not going to be able to see me today or give me an ultrasound. I then asked them why and they stated as of July 1 my Insurance has changed and the Specialist doesn't take my new insurance. I had no idea my insurance had even changed and I didn't know what was going on. I got a little frazzled and excused myself to call my doctor's office. Okay I have to admit when I left the building I burst into tears. I couldn't believe we were not going to get to see our boys and find out their weight and measurements and see how much they've grown. DJ and I look so forward to seeing the boys every 2 weeks so this was a little heartbreaking. I called my doctors office and explained everything to them. Then they told me that they would send me to a new specialist that was closer to my house. So after my little meltdown I guess you can say everything worked out. No matter what's going on I know that God is always watching over and protecting my family. Thank God for his Healing that He gives to us and I Thank God for his Grace!

I know I sure didn't so I want to share with you my eating schedule and what I've been eating. Someone may not know how to properly eat for three so I want to share what I eat. I try to make sure I drink lots of water, eat tons of Fruits and Veggies, and I've been trying to eat more Protein and Grains which has definitely been showing because the boys and I are gaining weight accordingly!

Learning to Eat for Three

Learning to eat for three in the beginning was hard for me. Instead of eating every 3 hours like I was suppose to or eating full meals I was just mostly snacking throughout the day on anything I craved like Fruit or Tuna. I constantly had a stomach ache and every time I went to the doctors I wasn't gaining any weight. I knew I had to change my eating habits because I wanted the proper nutrition for my babies. I didn't know where to begin Thank God for my nurses help, baby books about multiple pregnancy, and the Internet. I had no idea until my doctor told me I was suppose to be getting an extra 600 calories a day. I learned that your body needs extra nutrition to provide the vitamins, minerals and energy my babies need. I realize from looking at my diet and talking to my nurse I wasn't getting enough Protein and Grains. So my goal was to try and incorporate as many proteins and grains into my diet as possible. I realize instead of just eating fruit all day I need a least 3 full meals a day and 2-3 snacks a day.

I also learned the only way I'm going to stay on track if I put myself on a schedule. At first I wasn't use to eating every three hours but now it just comes naturally. My stomach aches have completely stopped and has totally went away and I am now gaining weight. Every check up I can anywhere from 2-4 pounds. At first it was so hard for me. I hard to make myself eat and it felt like a work out! Lol But I have to do what's best for my body and my baby boys!

Here's a look at my eating schedule and how I stay on track...

My Eating Schedule

Breakfast: 6am
Every morning for Breakfast I eat either Cereal, Cream of Wheat or Oatmeal.
My Cereal are always the same either Special K, Chex, Cheerios, Frosted Flakes, Mini Shredded wheats or Lucky Charms. I always incorporate some type of Fruit and a glass of Orange juice.

Snack: 9am
I always eat a piece of fruit or String Cheese with a Water bottle

Lunch: 12pm
For Lunch I always have a Turkey sandwich and I make sure it's hot! I always have veggies like carrots or cucumber slices and some kind of Fruit. I usually drink a Lemonade Crystal Light with my Lunch. And if I don't have a Turkey sandwich for Lunch I usually have leftovers from dinner the night before or a Salad.

Snack: 3pm
For my second snack, I eat either Fruit, Veggies, Yogurt, or a Granola bar with another water bottle.

Dinner: 7pm or 8pm
For Dinner it varies! But it's usually always baked chicken, some veggies, sometimes brown rice, potatoes or some pasta. I love to try new things for dinner so I'm always mixing it up!

Snack: 10pm
I use to be a huge Night Owl and never sleep at night but you would never know that now! Lol Ever since I became pregnant I fall asleep so early now around 10pm or 11pm, so I usually eat another snack before I fall asleep. I always eat a piece of Fruit like a peach or yellow apple before I go to bed.

My goal is to eat right and get all the nutrients my babies and I need. I'm so Happy I'm finally on the right track and I learned how to eat for Three!

Peach Pink Lemonade

Peach Pink Lemonade

Ya'll already know I'm a punch girl! I love mixing and making drinks and punches and with this Summer heat I definitely have been taking advantage of that opportunity. I love when Summer fruit begins to come in like Peaches, Strawberries, Cherries, and Watermelon. I'm probably the first one running to the market. Well I picked up some peaches the other day and it's was like 85 degrees outside! I decided I'm going to make a Peach drink. I didn't want to make Peach Tea because let's face it I've made it time and time again I wanted to switch things up.

Here's what I came up with...

I mixed Country Time Pink Lemonade with Kern Peach Nectar and a splash of Ginger Ale  along with some Peach slices!

It was so delicious and refreshing! My family loved it and I hope yours does too!

There Names...

We've have been getting asked how did we decide on the boys names. When DJ and I sat down to decide on names for the boys we wanted their names to be Awesome, Strong, Masculine, have a family meaning and of course Cool! We plan on raising some Brave, Awesome and Cool little boys and we wanted their names to reflect that! We have talked about names for our future babies for years now. Girls names always were easier for us; there was tons we always liked. But Boy names on the other hand didn't come so easily until it just clicked for us and we finally GOT them!

We wanted a name that had meaning to us and represented what we wanted for our boys.

Something we both 100% loved and not names that we just agreed on!

Something Strong!

A Family meaning!

Something that Stood out!

Kingsley Alexander Evans

From the first day I meant DJ he always said he wanted his child's name to be Alexander, so I knew whenever we had children the name Alexander was going to definitely be incorporated somewhere. Alexander means to defends and help, we definitely want our little boy to be a defender and helper. My family is big on helping people and were huge givers so Alexander definitely has a family meaning. We both loved the names Kingston and Kingsley, because they were strong and powerful but so many people have the name Kingston so we decided on Kingsley.

Kash Jameson Evans

When I first told DJ I wanted to name our son Kash he wasn't to sold on the idea but then he started saying both boys names together and absolutely loved it! He then fell in love with baby Kash name. Growing up I had two older twin cousins and their names were Cash and Cardell. I looked up to them like big brothers. I have always been in love with the name Cash! I also knew I wanted to use My Great Grandpa name. He was my everything and his name was James Charles Thomas and I always said when I had a little boys I wanted to name one of them after my Papa. I love and miss my Papa so much. He was the sweetest man on the face of the earth and I just hope and pray Kash gets his same spirit. There is already 3 people name James in our family so instead of James we decided on Jameson.

We love them so much already! Our Baby Kingsley and Baby Kash. Our sweet little King and Kash!

We've been using there names for weeks now! When we talk to Kingsley and Kash we love using their names. We never say twins or babies. It's always "I'm so ready for Kingsley and Kash to be here." or "We really need to get started on Kingsley and Kash nursery."

So there you have it! Why we named our sweet little precious boys, Kingsley and Kash!

We always wanted two little boys and God has blessed us with two boys at the same time! And we are so ready for them to get here, our sons!

Our names are...

Everyone from our Friends, Family members, our Church family, and even complete strangers have been asking us what are we naming the boys! We've had our names picked out for a very long time now! We were trying to keep their names quiet and not reveal them so early. We were planning on revealing their names at the baby shower, but it's been so hard to keep it to ourselves. Were just so Excited! I wanted a cute way to reveal the boys names and something that represented DJ and I both. Were both big kids at heart and love playing board games still so I used our Scrabble board to reveal their names! So here are our precious little boys names...
