A Wonderful Wednesday

Wednesdays have always been my favorite days of the week! I can remember even as a small child Wednesdays were my favortie days. Wednesdays were minimum day in Elementary school so we got out of school at 1:15pm Oh how I loved it and they would sell Big Stick Popsciles for 50 cents. Those were the days!

OMG! And don't get me started with Dawson's Creek. Dawson's Creek was my favorite show and I never missed an episode .

But for over 10 years I have been watching the tv show Big Brothers. This is their 14 season and every year that it starts I get so excited and it feels like the first Big Brother I ever saw. My Grandma Winda got me hooked on the show Big Brother. So, Wednesday are my favorite tv nights because I get to watch Big Brother and Criminal Minds. (Criminal Minds is my sister Niqua favorite show she never misses a episode)

This Wednesday, August 29, 2012 defintely explains why I love Wednesday. My little Warrior and Princess have been so excited to ride their bikes and they been asking me and DJ over and over again to take them out. So we did :0)

It's was such a cloudy day, so we thought it was going to rain, but sure enough as soon as we got to the Church parking lot all the clouds cleared up and the sun was so bright. It was Gorgeous!

The weather was so nice. It was so cloudy and hot, then the sun came out and the wind started to blow.

RJ, Bird, Ny, and Khi

Princess Ny loves to pose for the camera

Khi Khi wanted to show me his muscles!

Me and Dj were so sweaty from running around with the kids!

You can do it Warrior!

Bird and Rj took time out from playing ball with Uncle DJ to take pictures.

Me and My babies!

They were so excited to ride their bikes. We couldn't go far because they kids don't have helmets yet, so we stay in the church parking lot.

Dj teases me when I'm watching Big Brother. He says it sounds like I'm at a Football games. He says I scream, shout, root, and clinch my pillow. Here's me with my zebra pillow! Poor pillow I toss him around when I'm watching Big Brother. I get so excited! : D

After riding bikes and playing with the Kids we ended the night by CHEATING on our diets! :o)
My mom made Fritos Pies with Homemade chilli and they were sooo good! Me and DJ love Frito pies but we've been avoiding eating anything heavy, so chilli is definelty on the No No list. But tonight we cheated and ate chilli.

Mhhh Yummy Frito Pie!

Princess feels like she "needs" to get her nails did everyday and so that means I "need" to get my nails did every week.

She kept getting mad at me because she said I was moving too much! Haha I just can't be still with Big Brother on.

My sister, Niqua ran in our room with her hands behind her back and shouted; "Who's your favorite Sister?"

Then we yelled; "YOU ARE OF COURSE!!" And behind her back she had one of our favorite candy, Hershey's Cookies 'n'Creme!

Oh Man! Did me and Dj cheat on our diet that night, but it was okay because it was the perfect way to end a Wonderful Day!

Watching Big Brother and snacking on some Hershey's Cookies'n'creme was the end to a Wonderful Wednesday!

Tangled Up in Fun: Princess 4th Birthday

As you all know my princess turned 4 last week and I was so happy it was her birthday, but it was also sad because she's growing up . I want her to stay a baby forever! My little baby forever!

The older she gets the smaller her parties get. But we want it that way because when its just family something about it is more special and meaningful.

Princess is so obsessed with Rapunzel. Me and her, ask my husband would say, "watch Tangled entirely too much!" hehe ;0) I'll watch any movie with my princess. So the theme of her fourth birthday had to be Tangled.

She kept insisting that she had to help me set the table.

She loves balloons, so of course we had to have her Tangled balloons.

Birthday girl's Birthday cake

Princess was so happy all her classmates made her a birthday sign.

She Finally got it! She finally got her bike! Princess has been wanting a bike for some time now and every time we go to the store that's all she talks about is Baby dolls and Bikes.

We had to make a pizza run! Of course Costco pizza. My little princess loves pizza as much as I do!
Here's princess mommy, Niqua enjoying a yummy Costco Churro.

We had so much fun eating pizza and singing happy birthday to princess. Than of course she was ready to ride her bike :0)

Happy Birthday DJ

August 22 my amazing hubby turned 24 years old!

DJ's birthday landed on a Wednesday this year, so we didn't do too much just ran some errands we had to take care of and then we went out to dinner. So, we celebrated his birthday on Friday. He thought I was just ordering him a simple chocolate cake, but I surprised him and had them put a Incredible Hulk picture on it. Me and my Husband love super hero's and the Incredible Hulk is one of DJ's favorite super hero. So when I opened the cake box he was really surprise and grinning ear to ear. I love his kool-aid smile!

"Happy Birthday to DJ, Happy Birthday to you!"

The cake was so Sumptuous! I not a huge fan of chocolate cake and so thought I was going to pass on having a piece, but I'm really glad I had a slice because it was beyond sumptuous.

Chocolate cake with Chocolate fudge filling and Whipped cream frosting

We wanted to see how fast the Hulk would go! And boy did he go fast! Everyone loved the cake so much that they kept coming back for seconds and thirds.

Going...

...Going

...Gone!

After we all sang Happy Birthday and ate cake, we went to Dave & Busters to have some fun. Since I meant my husband that's all he talked about was Dave & Busters so for his birthday I wanted to not only just take him to Dave & Buster but I took him to Gameworks too. DJ was so excited!!!

But before all of our fun and games begun we had the most delicious nachos ever! They were called Mountain 'O Nachos and when I say they were huge, they were HUGE. It was enough Nachos on that plate for 4 people.

Growing up my Husband's family really didn't celebrate his birthday and he's never had a real birthday party. So he always just shrugs it off as just any other day, but to me it's one of the most important day of the year!

When we were at Dave & Busters eating dinner, he finally admitted to me: "Even though I say I don't want you making a big deal about my birthday I'm kinda glad you do because it makes me feel pretty special."  When my DJ said that to me it made me tear up because he is my everything and I'm so happy to make him feel special.

Happy 4th Birthday Princess Ny

Yayy! Today is my niece-poo's Birthday! She turns 4 years old today. What an amazing week! The Hubby's Birthday was yesterday and today is my niece, Nauyauna's Birthday.

 ♥ HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS ♥

When my niece was born on August 23, 2008 I was the most proudest Auntie ever. I knew from the moment I laid eyes on her she was going to be Smart, talented, Energetic, and Caring.

She loves to sing and dance, cook, help clean up, read books, and most of all she loves to share. When she goes to church on Sundays my princess loves to share her snack with he other kids. I love that we taught her to give unto others.

And most people always assume I call her princess because she's my niece and I spoil her, but I call her princess because she has been very girly since the age of One years old. My niece-poo has always had a love for "lipboss" {she couldn't say lipgloss when she was little, so it always sounded like she was saying lip boss} so since she was one years old I always caught her playing in my makeup, putting on face powder and lipgloss. And don't get me started with nail polish she goes crazy over nail polish. She wants her nails did everyday. lol

She truly is the light of my life! I could be having a bad day and my niece just brightens up my ENTIRE day just by saying "Hi tee-tee mama" and I just melt!

Being a Auntie is the best feeling in the world!

This is the best week for me! I get to celebrate my husband's birthday and my princess Birthday all in the same week. I feel so blessed to have them in my life.

Love & Blessings,
Keisha

Happy Birthday DJ!

Today August 22 my Husband, Dj turned 24 years old. For his birthday we had a really laid back day. We just went out to eat, shopping at the mall, and ran some errands. All the real fun will happen Friday, I'm throwing him a small birthday party.

Today Dj gets to celebrate his birthday and I get to celebrate another year of having him in my life.  I thank  God for sending him in my life. The past year and a half that we have shared together has been so amazing. We learned to read each others' moods, to support each other, to be each others biggest fans, and most importantly were a team. We team up to kick butt of any life's challenges! {me and my husband love superheros so that's our inner superhero! lol}

He always encouraging me to step outside of my comfort zone and I'm always cheering him on to try and do new things. I have no idea how I got so lucky to get to share my life with a sweet, kindhearted, and generous man. I feel we were created for each other <3

I hope that I can make him feel as special today on his birthday and everyday as he has made me feel ever since we first met.

I LOVE YOU DJ!
Your my Best Friend, My Partner in Life, and My Soul Mate!

{Recipe} Pizza Casserole

Pizza Casserole

A couple of weeks ago, I saw a delicious casserole on For Mamas. I just knew I had to make this for my family. On her blog this recipe had over 673,691 views so I knew it was good. I cooked it up and my family feel in love with it.

I did mine a little different from For Mamas, because instead of using Spaghetti sauce I used Pizza sauce. I also added a lot more ingredients to my casserole, because the recipe calls for 3 cups of cheese and I used wayyyy more cheese than that. lol  I have a very large family so I also had to use a extra large casserole dish.

What you'll Need:
1 Bag of Egg Noodles
2 Cans of Pergo Pizza Sauce
2 Bags of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 package of Pepperonis
3 lbs. Ground Meat

Instructions
1. First, I browned my ground meat

2. Then, I boiled my Egg noodles

3. After my noodles and ground meat was fully cooked. I then started to layer my casserole dish.

4. Pizza sauce, noodles, meat, cheese, then I repeated again: Pizza sauce, noodles, meat, and cheese, and repeat until all your ingredients were gone

5. Now top off with Pepperonis and cover with foil

6.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes

So, if your looking for a great recipe that is packed with a lot of flavor then this is it!!
I hope you all try this recipe!

{Family Outing} Apples and Hopscotch

Family outings are always the BEST! We always try to do something different every time and make it a new experience. One day my mom was looking at the newspaper and say they were advertising some local businesses and one caught her eye. APPLES! She saw a business called, Sinfully Sweets Apples that creates  gourment caramel apples with over 100 different flavors. My mom is always the one to get all the family outings together, so we made plans for that Saturday to visit Sinfully Sweet Apples.

I was really excited for this family outing because me and my Husband, Dj had just made our big move from Louisisana to California and I was really excited to show him what a park looked like. :0)

Here is my Blue Hawaiian Candy Apple

Everything looked so Delicious and Beautiful! The candy apples looked so beautiful we didn't want to eat them because we would mess them up. :0)

We were all having a Great time!
