Party Flashback 2009: Curious George Goodie Bags

I'm back with another Goodie Bag post. In the same year, 2009 I also made the goodie bags for my nephew's 1st birthday and just like with my niece's goodie bags I really wish I could do his over too. We had him a Curious George Party and it was so much fun.

Here are the goodie bags I made in 2009:
In each goodie bags I used:
Play-Doh
Glow sticks
 Candy

I tied off the bags with  blue, yellow, and red ribbon.

Here's a picture of me making my Khi the warrior bags for his 1st birthday!

Here's my NEW version of the new goodie bags I would do:

A Yellow Pail

Paint

Curious George Fruit Snacks

Curious George Stickers

Red, Yellow, and Chocolate M&Ms

Party Flashback 2009: Abby Cadabby Goodie Bags

Yayy!!! My first official post! I've always have helped decorate parties or even helped set up food, but I had never planned a whole party by myself. The first time I planned a whole party was my niece's 1st birthday back in 2009. For her party we went with the theme Abby Cadabby. This was my first real party that I planned.  I was so excited to finally plan a party. My Sister and Mom picked the theme and I did the rest. I planned the decorations, the food, and even made the goodie bags. Looking back now, I wish I had my creative juices flowing because I would have done a better job on her goodie bags. We had got a family friend to make the labels and I just placed candy inside each bag. Looking back, I wish I would have not just used candy in the goodie bags because we had a Huge Abby Cadabby pinata full of tons and tons of candy, so instead of placing candy in the party favors I would have got more creative. Thank goodness for more birthdays because I have a chance to do her next party over.

Here are the Goodie Bags I made in 2009:

If I had a chance to do my niece's goodie bags over
here's how I would re-do her Abby Cadabby Goodie Bags:

Tulle Bags/Purses
I would have handmade her bags using tulle.

Abby Cadabby Coloring Book
She loves to color, so a coloring book would have been perfect.

Abby Cadabby Wands

Abby Cadabby Sticks
Bubbles

Cookies made with Pastel M&Ms

I'm proud of myself because I now know how to take what's in my heart and my vision and turn it into something extraordinary. I'm glad looking back I've seen how much I have grown and learned.

Love & Blessings,
Keisha

Intro to Us

Hello :o)

I'm Keisha Evans. I'm not new to this Blogger world. For 4 years I have operated a makeup blog but since now being a newlywed my life has changed so much and I wanted to share it with everyone. Since meeting my husband life has never been a dull moment.

I was attending College for Child Education and Business Management and working at Victoria's Secret part time while doing makeup as a side hustle. I was a typical Cali girl I loved shopping, getting my nails did, and going to the beach. Then my family and I were left with No income and No where to live! I had to pack up my whole life and moved over 1000 miles from my city life to Louisiana.

Upon arriving to Louisiana my friend and her husband kept trying to set me up on a date with his brother. At first I said, no but for some reason I changed my mind. They introduced us and we set up our first date.

After our first date I knew I meant him. I knew I meant my husband.

January 6, 2011 we had our first date.

I never believed in love at first sight but we knew from the start we were meant to be. I know it sounds silly but we felt it was Fate and Destiny that God brought us together.

Our Wedding Day.

Zwolle, Louisiana is DJ's hometown but after getting married he wanted a better life and he then moved over 1000 miles from his country life to California.

So there you have it! All because a Southern Gentleman and a City girl fell in Love

I'm so happy to be sharing our fun and sometimes random life with you all.

Love & Blessings,
Keisha
